Fasting Motivation 38 – Try it out Tuesday and N=1 experiments (part 1)

 

 

if what you’re doing isn’t working, change it up !

 

run a study where the number of subjects is one, just you

these are known as an N = 1 experiments

 

and as adam savage says, remember kids, the only difference between screwing around and science is writing It down

 

the following are suggested N=1 experiments:

  • fasting with carbs, low carb, paleo, keto, carnivore
  • saltwater fast, fat fast, egg fast
  • 3 day, 5 day, 7 day fasts
  • 2 day saltwater fast followed by a 1 day dry fast
  • carb cycling one day a week or every two weeks
  • 2 weeks of OMAD vs OMAD with 4 two-day fasts
  • 2 two-day fasts vs 1 three-day fast
  • alternate day fasting where you have 2 meals every other day
  • coffee and tea vs. saltwater only

 

you don’t have to take anybody’s word for it, try it out, track it, write it down.
