#1 Stick to foods that won’t spike your blood sugar/insulin level


low glycemic foods keep your insulin from spiking

sugars and carbohydrates have the highest impact

try to keep your insulin levels low even after breaking your fast

start with vegetables, then go on to proteins


#2 Keto fasting

keto fasting is sticking to the ketogenic macro nutrient foods during your eating window

carbs are less than 5%

protein is about 20%

and fat is 75% of total calories

this keeps your insulin levels really low all day long even while eating.

this can work even for a couple days during the week


#3 Extend the length of your fast

once you’re used to shorter fasts

try 24 hour and 48 hour fasts

that’s omad, 2-day Tuesdays and 3 day Thursdays


this keeps insulin super low for a really long time



#4 Performing fasted workouts
