  • for this series, why is it so hard to eat right?
  • I will not have a heart attack
  • I will not have a stroke
  • I only get one body
  • I will do this right
  • every year, losing weight is the #1 new year’s resolution, and yet we’re the most overweight country in the world
  • you want the truth, most people around you do not want the truth, it’s foolish to try to convince them
  • food gives us macronutrients – fats, carbs, and proteins
  • food gives us micronutrients – thousands of them, they come in plants
  • the food industry has turned food into an addictive drug, just like heroin, cocaine, sugar
  • this gives us a dopamine euphoria, a high, an overwhelming calm and pleasure
  • the food high is even higher than sex
  • in a lab, they add flavor and they test the frankenfood over and over until the frankenfood hits the greatest pleasure points
  • only then when they know the monstrosity is so mind altering so powerful, the chances of breaking free of the American diet is slim to non
  • do you want to throw in the towel? absolutely not
  • fight the pleasure trap
