here are my notes:

  • knowledge is power
  • being healthy might need to become almost a religion in order to succeed
  • say no to stroke
  • no to cancer
  • you must be healthy
  • don’t let people put hopelessness on you.
  • Nathaniel says that you need plants because meat is deficient in a lot of nutrients that you need to get from plants
  • we are all drug food addicts, recognize it
  • we seek comfort whenever possible
  • the brain is doing its job by seeking the comfort of eating
  • you can defeat cravings
  • we can feel the pull toward our favorite junk foods – exact time, location, eat it in a certain way
  • if you have a drive a different way home to avoid the food craving, you have to do it.
  • there should be no temptation in your house. get committed
  • you might be married to a food addict spouse—talk to them.
  • I need your love and support
  • will you please support me. I’m not going to force anything on you, but please support me
  • but you need good food at home, be prepared
  • laziness sometimes makes you fall off the plan
  • you have to have religious fervor
  • it takes dogged determination
  • but there will be times when you have to suffer through the cravings
  • do you want to be a champion in your health
  • do you want to be lean and fit
  • do you want a flat stomach
  • do you want to be free from all prescription drugs
  • do you want to have mental clarity
  • how bad do you want to reverse your diabetes
  • write out your health goals, right now
  • write down 5 reasons why you need to eat to live
  • I can be healthy
  • I will be healthy
  • I MUST be healthy
