Thor is NOT addicted to food

 

I came across Yalla Papi and he has a great video called:

Yalla Papi – How To Overcome Binge Eating Disorder In 58 Minutes

it’s a long video, but I really enjoyed it, here are my notes:

 

what Yalla used to think is that eating disorder people

  • are addicted to the victim mentality
  • have poor health values
  • don’t make the right food choices
  • eat too often
  • lack discipline and a reason to succeed
  • romanticize their poor choices, look at it practically
  • don’t exercise enough, at least lifting weights
  • are making things more complicated than they need to be

 

New information that made Yalla think.  He watched kinobody’s video on bing eating and says:

  • the goal is to be able to eat unhealthy foods without feeling guilty
  • feeling guilty when binging is correlated with consuming more calories
  • undereating + binging is a cycle that leads to weight gain and stress
  • avoiding guilt is key to avoiding binging, don’t avoid unhealthy foods entirely
  • proper habits must be in place to prevent guilt

 

Proper habits is no thinking.  these 5 things:

  • OMAD
  • nutrient dense foods: meat, eggs
  • resistance training: muscle helps everything
  • ignore calories/macros: on omad with real foods, you can eat until you’re full
  • sun exposure: keeps you happy
