Here are my notes from this video:

  • the number 1 thing you need in your quest for health is knowledge
  • hippocrates said let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food
  • as human beings, we do everything we can to avoid suffering
  • we’re supposed to be lean muscular and die of old age
  • would you rather have a few minutes of pain now as you reach your health goals
  • or a lifetime of pain by not being healthy
  • overcome the pain to reach the top of the mountain and help others rise with you
  • its lonely at the top of the mountain, but the view is beautiful
  • the pain of battling food addiction may endure for a night but the joy of excellent health will come in the morning
  • millions of americans are addicted to pain pills because they want an easy way out
  • in an attempt to do what is easy, their life has become very hard
  • instead we must do what is temporarily hard so that our life will be easy
  • you must overcome
  • you are not a victim
  • its still up to you
  • defeating the culture of the standard American diet is not for the feint of heart
