Here are my notes:

  • the base of the keto food pyramid includes healthy fats: oils, butter and fats, avacados, salmon
  • but Is mainly based on animal fats, which have a better omega-3 to omega-6 ratio
  • nutrient rich animal fats
  • move up a level are red meats, its easy to find sustainable cattle meat
  • third tier is green vegetables, especially if you cook them in fats
  • and on the third tier is dairy like cheese, just don’t overdo it
  • and nuts and seed
  • at the very top is berries and some low glycemic fruits, but in low volumes
  • also at the top are chocolate and coffee
  • if you have to, keto bars are at the top, meaning don’t eat much of them
