Here are my notes:

  • you want to have some leverage and accountability, for Yalla, he has his youtube channel and he wants to look good so that his channel is believable
  • that leverage helps you to eat properly
  • you want food that is natural, did it grow out of the ground? is there minimal processing?
  • eat as much healthy nutrient dense food as possible, before loosening up restrictions
  • for example 80% would be meat and eggs, then the stomach is kind of full
  • so the cravings for other items are reduced
  • stuffing yourself on healthy foods first is better than starting with pizza and pasta and junk food
  • in the grocery store, you’re assaulted by bad food, stick to natural food
  • a lot of us take pleasure in food, using exercise is a better way to release stress
  • food is supposed to be nutritious and healthy, not entertainment, not for a dopamine hit
  • the real trick is to find other ways to get that dopamine hit and enjoy life
