Here are my notes:

  • this study was released January 2, 2019
  • there were 1422 subjects
  • fasting period was from 4 days to 21 days
  • 60% women, 40% men
  • 18 year olds up to 99 year olds

 

there were 4

  • 100 percent of people lost weight and their blood pressure went down
  • 93% of people had an increase in physical or emotional wellbeing and an absence of hunger. the longer you fast the more gaba you release, the more of a calming effect you have on your brain
  • 404 members had pre-existing health problem. 341 reported that there was an improvement with that condition
  • Less than 1% had an adverse reaction

 

other notes:

  • the inflammatory marker ESR went down
  • LDL cholesterol went down
  • electrolytes balance went off especially calcium and phosphorous
  • some people said they didn’t sleep so great
