Here are the 17 myths, I am wording them into 17 hints

  • you cannot convert fat to muscle, they are separate things, you burn fat, you build muscle
  • fasted morning workouts is good for losing body fat.working out at night is just as effective as long as you’re not dead tired at night
  • static stretching followed by fast motion can actually injure you,
  • you cannot spot reduce fat, you can’t target specific body parts to lose fat
  • cardio doesn’t burn fat, cardio burns fat. losing weight is a combo of cardio + reduced calorie intake
  • you can’t outrun a bad diet
  • its not that muscle weighs more than fat – meaning the scale is a bad indicator of fat, its that muscle is more dense
  • the scale does not measure progress
  • women typically don’t bulk up when they lift, by nature. weight lifting is especially important for women
  • strength training does not require a gym
  • crunches alone will give you ab muscles, but abs are made in the kitchen
  • sweat is not necessary for a great workout
  • sports drinks are not the best way to rehydrate, think water + Himalayan sea salt
  • you have time to replenish protein
  • you need days off from the gym
  • start slow, find activities you enjoy, and add them to your daily activities
  • if you enjoy dancing do that
