Here are my notes:

  • all the major religions had fasting as a major part of their religion, partly to be as healthy and vigorous as possible
  • fasting is NOT the same thing as calorie restriction, fasting works better for fat burning
  • you might have withdrawal symptoms, that doesn’t mean fasting is bad
  • fasting may cause autophagy, a super power to break down worn out cells
  • you will increase testosterone and growth hormone, that’s a good thing for both men and women
  • your skin will get better
  • depression, anxiety, ocd, will likely get better and less severe, we believe many of these might be inflammatory in nature
  • you will burn more fat and burn muscle mass and bone density
