  • we all want long term results, Mario talks about retaining long term results
  • these take a lot of effort
  • its not easy
  • its worth it
  • Mario sees a lot of people with a lifestyle mismatch
  • for example, if you’re low-carb
  • and you’re training
  • but what about Friday pizza night? a wedding? a vacation?
  • what do you do when your lifestyle does not match your fitness approach?
  • if you want to have a couple drinks on the weekends
  • having competing goals is unsustainable
  • you want to design something that fits into your lifestyle
  • what can you stick with yourself for the longterm
  • you know what your traps are
  • and iterate and adapt your design
  • this needs to be a permanent change
  • you can never go back to where you eat whatever you want, whenever you want, however much you want
  • you can never go back to that mindless state
  • make better choices
  • the choices become habits
  • so you can make choices without having to micromanage
