- we all want long term results, Mario talks about retaining long term results
- these take a lot of effort
- its not easy
- its worth it
- Mario sees a lot of people with a lifestyle mismatch
- for example, if you’re low-carb
- and you’re training
- but what about Friday pizza night? a wedding? a vacation?
- what do you do when your lifestyle does not match your fitness approach?
- if you want to have a couple drinks on the weekends
- having competing goals is unsustainable
- you want to design something that fits into your lifestyle
- what can you stick with yourself for the longterm
- you know what your traps are
- and iterate and adapt your design
- this needs to be a permanent change
- you can never go back to where you eat whatever you want, whenever you want, however much you want
- you can never go back to that mindless state
- make better choices
- the choices become habits
- so you can make choices without having to micromanage
